Ari Lennox

Courtney Shanade Salter, better known as Ari Lennox, is an American musician and singer born in Washington, D.C., who was the first female to sign with J. Cole's Dreamville Records record label. The label debuted her first album titled Pho in the month of October 2016 where she started to get recognition. Shea Butter Baby released her first studio album on May 7, 2019. Ari Lennox released her music online in 2012 after she released her five Finger Discount mixtape and Ariography EP in 2013. In 2014, she released more music via the Internet including Bound. Also, she appeared on Bas in Icarus. Ari Lennox debuted her first single, Shea Butter Baby, Whipped Cream on the 16th of July in 2018, which was released on July 16th, 2018. The music video later released in September. In November, she dropped her singles forty Shades of Choke & Grampa. In November 2013 she dropped No One and Pedigree. Shea Butter Baby. Shea Butter Baby then made appearances in the Creed II album soundtrack alongside Cole. The singer released the single in order to announce her debut album Creed II on 26 February 2019. A music video was released on February 20, 2019 in conjunction with the song. Within one time, it was viewed more than 3 million views. She was part of 6LACK's From East Atlanta With Love Tour at the end of December 2018.
